If nothing else, watch the video at the head of the piece. It’s a great story about 3 kids moving to Russia with their family and attending school for five years. They go to not just a Russian school, but to a very challenging and progressive Russian school.
Favorite line of the whole piece is from the teacher (paraphrased): Children should not learn that 2+2 is always four. 2 cats plus 2 sausages is what? 2 cats.
